The Dishery restaurant provides the perfect contemporary cocktail function and event venue for your next celebration or corporate event in Arrowtown.

Expertly crafted cocktails and fresh, original & seasonal canapes served in a stunning modern building by our professional waitstaff.

The restaurant is situated adjacent to the best of Arrowtown's natural beauty with floor to ceiling windows facing the Arrow River Reserve and excellent flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

In spring and summer, bask in the evening's warmth in our landscaped courtyard under the stunning historic magnolia tree while enjoying the beauty of the natural surroundings, with the option to move indoors should you need.

In autumn and winter, you are cosy and warm indoors while still enjoying panoramic views, or making use of the outdoor courtyard with gas heaters and wood brazier.

We will have a dedicated team on hand to ensure your evening runs like clockwork. From welcoming guests and guiding seated diners, to serving drinks and food, every base will be covered. If you need anything further from an MC to an event planner, a florist or a photographer, let us know and we’ll give you our best recommendations.

We currently do not charge for private venue hire after 4pm. Private hire during the day may be available Monday to Friday dependent on your group requirements. There may be a minimum spend requirement. We would also love to have your group join us for lunch or breakfast during our regular service and can provide group set menu options.

Our capacity is approximately 60 people seated or 120 people standing. Our licence runs to 11pm, which means your group can stay on the premise until 11.30pm.

Note these are provided to give an indication of the food and beverage we can offer for a certain price point, however the exact menu we provide for your function may differ depending on the seasonal supply of ingredients and the requirements of your event. We are willing to work with you to make your function perfect for you.


Set menus will be supplied on enquiry.

$150 booking fee applies to all function bookings. Credit card details will be held. Non-refundable 25% deposit will be charged 7 days before the booking date. Minimum spends apply and are based on the date of your event and are made up of your food and beverages on the evening, please contact us for a quote. If you have a certain budget to work within please let us know. Cancellation policy applies.
